Professor Mark Robison and Raymond Gallagher and 21 Ed.D doctoral students from the USC Rossier School of Education visited our university March 21st and March 22, 2013. The visiting delegation was made up of mostly administrators from Southern California government and primary and secondary school principals. This visitation by the delegation is the first activity after both schools signed a mutual cooperation agreement in January 2013. The USC delegation pointed out that Zhejiang University is playing one of the most important roles in the development of contemporary Chinese research universities.
    Students and faculty members from the both sides held doctoral academic salons and visited Zhejiang University Youth League Committee, Danqing Academy-Qiushi school, Jingdu primary school (in Hangzhou Xiacheng district education bureau), one of our College of Education’s experiment schools. They discussed common issues such as university scientific research and application, Ed.D education, undergraduate entrepreneurship education, leadership education, junior undergraduate education and guidance, education innovation for local services and many other topics.
